Violence and exploitation against women in global supply chains remain one of the most pressing human rights challenges of our time. Women, particularly in the garment and textile industries, are often employed under vulnerable conditions as home-based or informal workers, where they face harassment, unequal pay, lack of legal protection, and limited access to social security.

This campaign seeks to reaffirm the principle that women’s rights are human rights by demanding an end to all forms of violence and discrimination at work. It calls on governments, employers, brands, and civil society to take collective responsibility for creating safe, equitable, and transparent supply chains. By ensuring fair wages, decent working conditions, and mechanisms to report and address abuse, we can move towards a future where women are not just seen as part of the supply chain, but as equal partners in economic and social development.

This is not only a moral imperative but also an essential step toward achieving sustainable and inclusive growth worldwide.
