Ittehad Town, Baldia Karachi. She lives with&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">her family and supports herself through stitching and beautician work. Her father, Basheer Ahmed,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">works as a labourer and earns around PKR 25,000 per month, which is barely enough to manage&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">household expenses, especially during times of rising inflation.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Before enrolling in the training, Faiza used to sew clothes with basic skills. She would take up&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">work during wedding and Eid seasons, which were her busiest times. However, in the off-season,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">her income would drop significantly, and she found it difficult to manage her personal expenses.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">She didn\u2019t have enough customers, and her work lacked the finishing and style that could attract&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">more business.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">With the support of UNDP and HomeNet Pakistan (HNP), Faiza got the opportunity to join a&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">vocational training program where she learned basic stitching and fabric designing. Her training&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">fee and travel expenses were fully covered, and she received her transport allowance through a&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">cash app, which helped her improve her digital literacy and money management skills.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">During the course, Faiza also gained knowledge about marketing, small business management,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">and online selling techniques. These skills made a big difference in her life. She started improving&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">the quality and style of her stitching work, and her confidence grew with each passing day.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Although she hasn\u2019t started selling her products online yet, she is planning to do so soon and hopes&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">to expand her business beyond her neighborhood.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Now, as a certified and professional stitching worker, Faiza dreams of opening her own training&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">center to teach other young women like her. She believes that the training has not only given her&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">skills but also a clear direction for her future.
