She was&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">born with a hearing and speech disability,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">which has made communication difficult&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">throughout her life. Due to this, Sania often&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">faced challenges in expressing herself clearly,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">understanding instructions in public spaces, and&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">accessing opportunities that required verbal&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">communication. This also led to social isolation&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">and a lack of confidence in dealing with&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">customers or expanding her work beyond her&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">immediate community.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Despite her disability, Sania has always been&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">determined to support herself and become financially independent. Before joining any formal&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">training, she was already involved in stitching work from home, earning around PKR 7,000 per&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">month. However, due to limited skills and lack of exposure, her income remained low and&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">inconsistent.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">With the support of UNDP and HomeNet Pakistan (HNP), Sania got the chance to enroll in a&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">vocational training program where she learned basic stitching and fabric designing. The course&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">fees and transport expenses were fully covered, and she received her travel allowance through a&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">cash app, which helped her gain confidence in managing money and understanding digital tools.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The training environment was supportive and inclusive, which made Sania feel comfortable and&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">respected. The trainers made sure to accommodate her needs, using visual demonstrations and&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">written materials to help her understand the lessons. During the course, Sania also learned about&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">marketing techniques, product presentation, and how to sell her work online, which played a big&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">role in expanding her customer base.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">After completing the course and mastering new stitching techniques, her income doubled. She now&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">earns around PKR 14,000, depending on the orders she receives, and is slowly building a good&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">reputation in her community for her neat, creative work. Sania is also exploring ways to reach&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">more customers through online platforms with the help of her family.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sania is eager to continue her learning journey and wishes to take a basic computer course in the&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">future.
